Where to put all these trophies?
It’s a nice problem to have: numerous awards. We added to our collection on Dec. 3 with the Award of Excellence for Corporate Reporting in Oil and Gas / Forestry sector and the Award of Excellence for Sustainable Development Reporting. The accolades are part of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s Corporate Reporting Awards, a prestigious national program that recognizes excellence and best practices in corporate reporting. This year’s theme, Celebrating Transparency, is aligned with our approach to reporting –
a commitment that’s made us a leader in corporate reporting. This is the sixth consecutive year we’ve won the Award of Excellence in Sustainability Reporting and the third time in four years we’ve received an Award of Excellence in Corporate Reporting for the Oil and Gas / Forestry sector.
Look who’s reading about Suncor
Are you bringing 360 home to share with family and friends? Bernd Wehmeyer is. Our manager of aviation says he always brings a copy to his 81-year-old father Richard, who reads it “cover to cover, 10 times or more.”
If you have a photo that you’d like to share that shows you, a co-worker, friend or family member getting in the know about our company through one of Suncor’s publications, email it to 360@suncor.com.

BOARD VISITS FORT HILLS
Accommodations at the new Robson Lodge were tested and found exceptional when members of Suncor’s board of directors overnighted at the Fort Hills oil sands mining project near Fort McMurray. The visit, during the weekend of Nov. 15, also included a bus tour of the major points of interest at the site, project execution areas, and the operations and maintenance complex to learn how we are integrating early Fort Hills Operations activities. The board was accompanied by members of the executive and Fort Hills leadership teams. “Not only was it an opportunity to highlight all the progress that’s been made, but also to shine a light on the people and teams,” says Fort Hills VP Mark Becker.
