In any disaster, minutes can feel like an eternity. Yet by the time the threat had passed and people began to return to Fort McMurray, five weeks had gone by in a blur. Here is the timeline of events, and the major milestones that transpired each day.
JUNE 1
• Staged re-entry into the community begins • Bus transportation provided after shift for displaced workers to visit their homes in
