STANDARDS OF BUSINESS CONDUCT COMING SOON
As a values-based company, Suncor expects employees, contractors and directors to run our business in a safe, fair, honest, respectful and ethical manner. Each year, you’re asked to affirm you follow our Standards of Business Conduct Code, which explains the high standard of behaviour required for anyone working for and representing Suncor.
WHAT TO EXPECT AND DO
• In late January, you will receive the booklet The Way We Do Business either via email, inter-office mail or through your supervisor or Human Resources.
• You are required to read The Way We Do Business booklet and affirm you have complied with the standards, or if you haven’t complied for some reason, affirm that you have spoken to your supervisor about it and resolved your situation.
• Affirmations are accepted Feb. 3 to April 15, 2015 via an online tool. Select employees who don’t have access can provide their affirmation on paper.
• The booklet is available in English, French, Arabic and Mandarin.
WHO MUST PARTICIPATE
• All full- and part-time employees (including unionized, temporary, students and casual staff) and contractor staff who are considered to be in a position.
