Suncor’s new Rack Forward Contractor

Safety Council lets contractors take the lead
in taking action. Launched in early March, the
council’s mission is “To drive consistent safety

behaviour and awareness to the front line by
eliminating complacency.”

“It’s basically a forum to collect and circulate
best practices,” Craig explains. “Suncor starts off

talking about Journey to Zero, and then we step
back and let the contractors talk.”
Members of the Rack Forward Safety Council
met recently for its inaugural meeting.
